In which I post some older poetry

And here's something that's a little old, probably a year or two old, maybe a little less. But I figured I'd put it up because it's pretty ok!


It's all too cliche to say that
we're like fire and ice
or a letter and a stamp
or Ginsberg and Orlovsky.
But
I've found myself
wishing
that I'd paid enough
attention in chemistry to say
that you were iron
and I was gold
and know what that meant
when I said it
