A Madman & Her Bear

welcome

"I have nothing to say and I am saying it and that is poetry as I needed it." -John Cage

how strange is it that i find superb writing sexually attractive? very? alright

Ok, a new thing is coming up within the next couple of days, assuming I don't die from stress and head-blow-upage. I'm going to be doing a book review for what must be the first time. What book? Well, it depends but I would bet I'll review At Swim, Two Boys. It's a fantastic book, just as funny as it is heartbreaking. And, of course, as Dwyn requires in any book she reads, the writing is fantastic. Just absolute perfection, Jamie O'Neill is a master of words

And as you know, anyone who can turn a masterful phrase can turn Dwyn into a pile of adoring goo. Might we be able to say it turns her on? We might....

XD

Of course, the opposite is also true. Bad writing makes me irritable. Which is probably why books like Last of the Mohicans, among others, will never find their way into my heart. You can only write about sitting on rocks so many times before you just get REPETATIVE. Also bad writing? I'm gonna say Frankenstein. Because I swear to god, that book is five pages of plot, two hundred pages of "OH MY GOD, WOE IS ME, EVERYTHING SUCKS!" It's like capslock!Harry in the sixth (fifth?) book of Harry Potter, also a poorly written book.

Anyway, enough of shit writers. Jamie O'Neill will be getting a review soonish. And please, keep me in your thoughts, I may blow up in the next couple of days. SO MUCH STUFF TO DO!
