A Madman & Her Bear

"I have nothing to say and I am saying it and that is poetry as I needed it." -John Cage

this is not a good thing. it's a thing i don't understand

As a result of the unfortunate thing that happened here on Friday night, I've been temporarily moved to my friend Dani's room. Same building, just a different floor. They've changed the locks on my room for some reason and the residence director had us all move out for the weekend until things were sorted, then we'd have the option of continuing to live there or moving into another room. I have decided, and did decide very quickly, that I wanted to remain in my room. I love where I live and at this point it's not worth it for me to try and find another room to live in. Also, I think perhaps it's not the best idea to simply flee this place. I'm not sure why, I feel like I'd be better off staying where I am. Less stressful to move and I'm ok to be in that space.

So with all of this in mind, I was supposed to move back in tonight. We were going to have a meeting and then we'd make our decisions and we'd be back to business as usual. I've actually been looking forward to going back, going to my things and having my silent space where it's just me and the walls and the windows and all of the city laid out so I can turn off the lights at night and dream with a cityscape in my eyes.

But we're not going back tonight and I'm worried, worried that I'm being a mooch, that I'm bothering people.

I just want to lay my head down in my own space so everything will stop hurting. I'm worried where my head is going, it's direction I don't like.
